General API Usage
How do I test API requests?
- You can test API requests via your Sandbox Account by sending requests to our endpoints with your API Key. Refer to our API documentation for sample requests and response formats.
What is the rate limit for API requests?
- You can find our Rate Limit documentation here.
Does the API support webhooks for real-time updates?
- We do not support webhooks at this time.
Data Sync & Updates
How often does data sync between the API and the Luxury Presence platform?
- Data updates made via the API are processed in real-time and immediately reflected on the Luxury Presence platform. However, depending on caching and other system factors, some updates may take a few minutes to appear on the front end.
What types of data can be managed through the API?
- Our API currently supports managing agent, team, and office data. You can assign agents to teams or offices as needed.
Where can I find a full list of API endpoints and data fields?
- You can view the complete list of API endpoints and their documentation here.
What happens if I update a field via the API that is also managed in the Luxury Presence dashboard?
- If a field is updatable via both the API and the dashboard, the most recent update will take precedence.
Miscellaneous
Why isn’t the “websiteURL” field updating my agent’s subdomain URL?
- The websiteURL field is a display-only field on an agent’s profile page. Updating this field via the API does not change or sync with the agent’s subdomain URL.
- If you need to update an agent’s subdomain URL, please reach out to our Support Team or your Client Success Manager (CSM) for assistance.
- To learn more about agent subdomains, visit our Agent Subdomains FAQ.
Why aren’t my agent’s properties syncing and being assigned to the agent, even after I’ve provided the MLS ID?
- If your agent’s properties are not syncing or being assigned correctly, even after sending the MLS ID, please refer to this article for guidance on how to connect and sync agent MLS data.
Why are my agent records failing to create?
- Agent records must have a unique email address and a unique license number. If you create records with duplicates in either field they will be rejected with a 400 response.
